EK homes is a husband-wife built business that was created out of a desire to give back and build for our community. Our mission is based on the most essential aspect of what makes a house a home-- the family. We design homes for families to grow and dream together. We offer more than your average spec home. Rather, our homes incorporate functional, traditional, trendy and luxurious styles that provide a sense of belonging. If you can dream it, we can build it.

Emerson Brock
OWNER
Emerson began his construction career in 2018 with residential remodeling and landscaping in the local Chattanooga area. He pursued and obtained a construction management degree at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. During his collegiate studies, he explored commercial construction as a project estimator for Berry Hutton, a reputable multi-family and commercial construction company based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee. His post-graduation career led him to work on multiple projects such as Walmarts, Dollar Generals, Buc-ee's Gas Stations, and carwashes across the United States as a project engineer. While this work is something he enjoys, Emerson wanted a more personalized experience which led him to residential construction in April 2021. He proudly founded EK homes in order to build functional homes and long-lasting relationships with his clients.

Kayla is Emerson's wife and business partner. She comes from a family history of real estate and development which is an asset to building communities in both local and neighboring areas. She pursued a degree in education which benefits EK homes' ability to maintain a growth mindset and business model. Kayla keeps EK homes up to date on the latest trends. She also works diligently to preserve timeless and classic elements and incorporate client personality into every build. When we began our search for our first home, we realized how difficult it was to find a quality home that we felt good about spending our hard-earned money on in our community.
